What are End Panels?

End Panels are used to finish off the look of your new kitchen. You should always select panels in the same finish as your kitchen cabinet doors.

Base End Panels can be placed on either side of base cabinets to conceal whiteboard cabinet ends where visible, and can also be used either side of dishwasher or base oven cabinets. (This method is recommended where vinyl products surround base oven cabinets).

Wall End Panels can be placed on either side of wall cabinets or rangehood cabinets to conceal whiteboard cabinet ends, where visible. They can also be used if base end panels have been placed either side of cabinets directly below. This assists kitchen measurements to remain consistent for both wall and base kitchen cabinet designs and can also assist to create visual appeal.

Tall End Panels are recommended for use on either
side of wall oven and wall oven drawer cabinets (in melamine only to create wall oven towers) and corner pantries.

Fridge End Panels can be fixed to other cabinets, wall and floor on either side of above fridge cabinets to house your refrigerator and provide extra storage space. Check your refrigerator height and width and appliance manufacturer’s specifications to determine whether this type of cabinet suits your intended application and allows suitable space around your refrigerator for it to function properly and efficiently.

If installing your base or wall cabinets directly against a side wall, allow for the addition of an End Panel or Multipurpose Panel to be used as a filler panel between the cabinet and the wall to ensure your doors can open properly. You can use these as filler panels where your cabinets are directly installed next to tall End Panels and Fridge End Panels to ensure door opening ease.

If you would like to include an island bench in your design, ensure that the combined width of your island bench Base Cabinets, kitchen appliances, Multipurpose Infill Panels and End Panels do not exceed the span/width of your chosen Breakfast Bar Panel. Breakfast Bar Panels are available in two widths: 1764mm and 2364mm.
